Accessibility Statement
My DIY Lifestyle is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies. We treat accessibility as part of building a site that is genuinely useful, not a box to tick, and we work on it continually.
Our Commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as a practical standard for making our content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. We are a small team and treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a finished state. We improve things as we find them.
What We Do
In practice, this means we build pages with a clear, logical heading structure, write descriptive text for meaningful images, keep color contrast readable, and design the site so it can be navigated by keyboard and read by screen readers. We try to keep language plain and pages uncluttered so content is easy to follow.
Known Limitations
Some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible, for example older content or third-party features we do not directly control. Where we find gaps, we work to close them. If something on the site is hard for you to access, telling us helps us prioritize it.
Feedback and Contact
If you run into an accessibility barrier, or you need information from the site in a different format, please let us know through our Contact page or by emailing hello@mydiylifestyle.com. We read every message and will do our best to help.
